Bonning Sentenced for Receiving Stolen Property
W. T. Bonning a Wisdom merchant and butcher was found guilty of receiving stolen property and sentenced last Saturday in district court to two to four years in the State penitentiary at Deer Lodge. The jury deliberated under an hour after the trial evidence tied him to cattle rustlers in the Big Hole Basin who sold cattle Bonning butchered and sold. Bonning was taken to Deer Lodge Saturday afternoon by Sheriff Wyman.
