Wisdom Blacksmith Called Beyond in Wisdom
Hugh McInnes a longtime Wisdom resident died last Thursday in the Gillam rooming house. Born 1855 in Cumberland County Nova Scotia he came to the Big Hole basin 80 years ago and worked as a blacksmith. He voted in the general election before his health failed and funeral services were held at Jackson with burial there. He belonged to the Wisdom Masons lodge and was known for repair work to ranchers. He traveled from Dillon to vote despite illness.
