F C Brady Dies in Braymer Missouri on November 10

Lima Ledger reports the death of Frank C Brady on Monday night November 10 1924 at his mother’s Braymer Missouri home after a year long cancer battle. He was son in law of Mrs Emery Keller of Lima and formerly a freight clerk for the O S S at Dillon. He leaves a widow two sons his mother three brothers and one sister. He will be laid to rest at Braymer.

Harvey A Sullivan Found Dead on Trail to Claim

Harvey A. Sullivan, aged prospector and mine owner in the county, was found dead on the trail to his claim about four miles from Brenner's station Thursday morning by rancher B. Meeds. Coroner James Phillips and Hiram Brundage investigated, noting heart failure as the cause as tracks in the snow show the moment of collapse. Sullivan was a noted member of the mining community.

Hurt Faces Charge of Selling Liquor to Minors

Y. E. Hurt was arrested yesterday afternoon by Sheriff Mooney and Undersheriff Kellum in Lima and brought to Dillon to face a charge of selling intoxicating liquor to minors. He pleaded not guilty before Judge Phillips in the justice court and posted a $1,000 bond. Hurt has prior arrests for similar offenses.

Anniversary Observed of War End in Dillon

The sixth anniversary of World War II's end was marked in Dillon by the Beaverhead American Legion post with a parade from City Hall at 10 30 a m. patriotic exercises at City Hall, a football game at the fairgrounds, a banquet at City Hall and a concluding dance.
