Official Beaverhead results after a tight general election favor Norah Connelley for treasurer and Annie Nelson narrowly leads for administrator. Frank Rife and Otto Gosman win state seats while sheriff Dan Mooney narrowly trails W C Orr. thirteen precincts back good roads and repeal sentiments.

A three year old Rudolph A Jardine Rife son of Mr and Mrs A Jardine Rife died from a fractured skull and other injuries two hours after being struck by a car on South Washington street Cal Dunn drove the car and witnesses say he sounded his horn and slowed but Rudolph darted into the path The inquest cleared the driver and funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Mountain View cemetery interment followed Survivors include his parents brother Freddy and grandfather A S Rife with relatives in several nearby towns.

Mrs Marmaduke Gist Dies At Family Home
Mrs Marmaduke Gist died at her Dillon home after a period of ill health. Born Clara Belle Sharkey in eastern Canada on March 20, 1878, she moved with her parents to Glendale and later Dillon. She married Marmaduke Gist in 1901. they had a daughter, Mary Gist, a local teacher. Funeral services were at St Rose Catholic Church with interment in Mountain View Cemetery. She was active in the Catholic church and known for hospitality to friends and neighbors. Surviving relatives include sister Mrs Fred Conger and brother Frank Sharkey of Anaconda.

Mrs Angie T Walker died at her home on South Washington street after a lingering illness. A Dillon resident since 1905 she was 82, born in Etna Maine. She was descended from Puritan ancestors and John Alden. Survived by husband James Walker son Dr M A Walker brother M L Mosley and daughter Dorothy W Walker. Funeral Sunday at 2:30 from the house with Rev Ernest Loft officiating and burial in Mountain View cemetery.
