W H Gibbons resigns from Watseca Mining company in Rochester and leaves Dillon for the Philippines next Thursday to take a government teaching post. He passed the insular civil service exam in Butte on April 30 and received a $1200 yearly appointment on May 9.

Democratic Convention Elects County Delegates at Court House
Representatives from Democratic precincts met last Saturday to elect delegates and alternates to the state convention at Great Falls. Emerson Hill was elected chairman and John T. West secretary. Lima and Bedrock delegations were seated, with committees named on resolutions and delegates. A mass meeting is announced for tomorrow at City Hall to organize the Fourth of July celebration.
