The late Miss Viola Rich was honored at a Dillon M E church service. Rev A A Luce conducted the rites with a large crowd, floral tributes from the Rebekah lodge Women’s Relief Corps and Epworth League, and a long procession to Mountain View Cemetery under the Rebekah auspices.

Died Wednesday in Dillon Montana After Quick Illness
Leander K Day died at his East Sebree street home after a two day illness. He had worked as a janitor at the Public school house, then at a brick yard before falling ill Monday. Autopsy showed septic peritonitis from a perforated stomach ulcer near the gall bladder. His wife, from Missouri, survived. the couple had eloped to Montana two years ago and were married in Dillon. Funeral at the Episcopal church with burial in Mountain View cemetery. He was 22 years old.

May Term District Court Briefs and Divorces Granted
The May term opened with Judge Parker. numerous cases disposed, several divorces granted, two new citizens admitted. Dismissals and continued cases, including forgery and grand larceny, were noted along with pending debtor actions and a jail-breaking charge. A local sculptor Eph Stoller unveiled a life like plaster lion sculpture from a small iron model.

Milo Starr died last Saturday around 11 PM at his Kentucky Avenue home after Bright's disease. He was 73 years old, married since 1858 to Mary Tackler, and father of nine with eight surviving. Helena-Joseph Lethlon of Radersburg Broadwater county committed suicide by placing dynamite in his mouth and igniting it, causing a fatal explosion that destroyed his head. The man had been a heavy drinker and later became dependent. For groceries phone 6 M.
