Dillon High to Gain Domestic Science Department
Bozeman Chronicle notes Dillon will establish a fully equipped domestic science department next year with Belle Osborn head of the program. Osborn previously taught general science at Beaverhead County High School and will bring Montana Agricultural College training to Dillon. The move reflects broader aims by the Montana Federation of Women’s Clubs to expand domestic science and manual training, despite board prejudices and funding needs, as more schools adopt the program.
