Great Falls Woman Hurt In Accident
Great Falls resident Mrs. Myrtle Aline and her young daughter were injured Tuesday afternoon in a car crash south of Brown's Bridge on Highway 91. Both were taken to Barrett hospital. the mother suffered extensive cuts and bruises, while the child was not badly hurt. The car rolled several times, went through a guard rail, and rested at the foot of the railroad bed. Undersheriff John Troupe investigated. cause undisclosed.

Summer Term Opens at Montana State Normal College
The Montana State Normal college summer session opened with registration on Monday and regular classes starting Tuesday. Roscoe Hugenin of Helena spoke to the Dillon Rotary Club last Monday outlining Montana’s expected 13 million dollar PWA construction allocation under the pump priming bill. Dillon School Board elects Paul L. Anderson as superintendent
Paul L. Anderson was elected superintendent and director of teacher training by the Dillon board of trustees on Monday. He succeeds Charles Henry who resigns after 12 years. Henry will remain at the State Normal college as professor of education until August 31, 1938. Anderson, nearing his PhD at the University of Minnesota, has degrees from Montana State University and Minnesota, with seven years in Montana schools and prior leadership roles in Minnesota. He comes with strong endorsements and a record in debate, basketball, and track coaching. The board also reviewed the preliminary school district budget.

Beaverhead Stockmen Join Idaho Field Days Meeting
Beaverhead county men attended a two day field days event at the Bureau of Animal Industry forest and range experiment station in Dubois Idaho. Over 200 stockmen and foresters from Montana Idaho and Wyoming participated. Interment of W H Dorchester an early Dillon resident who died in Anaconda Saturday night was held at Mountain View cemetery Tuesday at 1 p m. Dillon lodge No 16 AF and AM led graveside rites. Dorchester, a former Dillon secretary of the AF and AM chapter, moved to Anaconda about 40 years ago and served as treasurer of the brick department at Anaconda Copper Mining Co. He retired four years ago.
