The tribute praised his service vision and neighborly spirit while expressing sympathy to his family. County wool clip moves to market
Beaverhead county mainly sold its large wool clip with shipments heading to eastern markets. The Cook Sheep company fleece earned top prices of 24.5 cents paid by Liberman & Son of Chicago via Walter Foster. Wool prices rose over last year and Beaverhead wool was high quality though lighter than normal.

Sheriff Seizes Prisoner in King Chase at Coleville

Nocera authorities approve the Jefferson Valley Rural Electrification project with Langford Electric of Minneapolis contracted to build. Construction to begin in about 10 days, funded for 281 miles of line and a $294000 appropriation. Justice Court Busy Five Are Sentenced
Justice court was busy Tuesday as Judge Louis Stahl heard five pleas. Four faced vagrancy charges and received suspended six month jail terms with a 24 hour stay for disappearance from the city. Arraigned on the way charges were Bradley, Peggy Guerre, Mrs. Fred Jenkins and Roy Puet. The fifth was Bob Kinney charged with setting fires on forest service land.

Beaverhead county agricultural conservation committee members Joseph C. Ferguson Floyd Kenison and Mark Clemon will attend the district AAA meeting in Missoula on July 25. Recreation camp deemed a successful two week run
Enrollment in the girls summer recreation camp rose daily as the committee reports completion of the second week. Sessions will continue for two more weeks with two age groups swimming an hour each. Older girls are supervised by Mrs William McMaster and Mrs Edna Kastelitz and the younger by Mrs Smith Paddock and Miss Helen Doyle.

Death Claims A W Wilson Here Friday
Arthur W. Wilson prominent businessman and longtime Jackson resident died Friday at his daughter's home after a lingering illness. Born January 10 1868 in Cythiana Indiana he lived in Kansas Colorado Montana including 44 years in the Big Hole basin. He served as Jackson postmaster homesteaded near Jackson owned a store and was active in I O O F and Rebekah lodges. Survived by his widow two sisters three brothers a stepdaughter and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at Brundage chapel with I O O F and Rebekah rites. Interment Mountain View Cemetery.

Man Pleads Guilty To Setting Fires In Forest Reserve
Bob Kinney pleaded guilty to wilfully setting two fires in the Little Sheep Creek basin district near Lima on July 15. He was fined $27.50 in justice court, paid by his employer Joe Gravely. Forest crews fought three fires, two controlled with minimal timber loss. Kinney claimed he set them to scare away coyotes and cats molesting sheep. High fire danger was reported.
