Young Man Arthur Brown Fined for Assault Near McLaren Shop
Arthur Brown was arrested Monday for assaulting J. W. Fry after a Sunday dispute near McLaren's Slacksmith shop. Brown admitted striking Fry with a bare fist, causing a skin cut below the ear. He pled guilty to a misdemeanor before Judge Charles Conger and paid a $20 fine.
