Dr. Lloyd F. Williams 27 died Wednesday night at Barrett hospital from complications after surgery for a ruptured appendix. A Dillon osteopath who moved there in 1934, he was a Polson native and Kirksville College of Osteopathy graduate. He held Elks, Atlas club, college fraternity, and Montana State Osteopathic association memberships. Funeral was in Missoula Saturday at 2 PM. burial in the Missoula cemetery.

Removal of High School Debris Commences
Debris from wrecking two old high school buildings is being removed at the site. A steam shovel operated by Cahill and Mooney begins the work with trucks hauling bricks and stone to Blacktail Creek near West Bannack Street to form a protective bulwark along the creek bank. The wrecking was completed quickly due to favorable winter weather.

Ranchman George A Whitworth Dies in Portland
George A. Whitworth 72 prominent Beaverhead stockman died Monday night in a Portland Oregon hospital after ten days in a clinic. Born February 18 1866 in Salt Lake City he arrived in the county in 1885 and built a large livestock operation with ranches in Sheep Creek basin Beaverhead and Ruby valleys. Surviving are three sons E Edwin Bernard L and Lewis Whitworth all of Beaverhead County plus daughters in law and grandchildren. Funeral Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Masonic hall with Knights Templar escort to Mountain View cemetery.

Lima Man Found Dead Near Cabin After Exposure
The body of Joseph Johnson, 80, a Lima resident missing since Tuesday, was found Friday near a fence a hundred yards from his cabin. Investigators said exposure or a heart attack caused death. he appeared to have tried to reach Lima for help. Johnson had no Montana relatives locally, with a sister in Denmark and nephews in Idaho and Oregon.
