District No 10 trustees including Dillon public schools adopted a resolution to refund 155000 in bonded indebtedness. The two issues total 80 000 and 75 000 and carry 6 percent interest while the new refunding bonds will bear 3 90 percent interest.

Beaverhead Sheepmen Attend Bozeman Meet
A Beaverhead county delegation returned from Bozeman where the Montana Wool Growers association held its thirty fifth annual convention. They reported a successful three day event with program style show and entertainment. President-elect Harry Snyder of Billings succeeds W G Gilbert of Dillon. Delegates from this area included Gilbert Whitworth Ditty Melton and others. The group supported repeal of the 1934 reciprocal tariff act and opposed restrictive livestock sale bills while urging more civilian conservation corps funding and improved grazing rights protections. Trustees named include Snyder Gilber t Hibbard Gardiner Williamson Jamieson Sime Pauly Clary. A floor contest over a divorce measure to segregate wool houses and buyers was defeated.

Motorists urged to secure 1936 permits and licenses
Eight days remain for motorists to apply for 1936 license plates as announced by county treasurer Norah Cammelley. State driver permits issued at the treasurer’s office should be in possession of all drivers, while city permits for city residents are now issued at city hall and must be obtained before February 1.

Freeman G. Marble 80, a longtime Centennial valley rancher, died after a brief illness at Barrett hospital. He was a native of Illinois and had run a Upper Centennial ranch for over four decades. He is survived by a brother Isaac Marble of Henrys Lake Idaho and other relatives in the East. Funeral held at Brundage chapel with Rev J A Meeke officiating. burial at Mountain View cemetery.

Esteemed Matron of Grant Dies at Home
Mrs. John Bjorns, longtime resident of the Hicrse Prairie area, died last Thursday after a lingering illness. The body was taken to Dillon by H. M. Brundage. funeral services were held Monday at Brundage Funeral Home with Rev. A. W. Nelson of First Lutheran Church officiating. Interment followed in Mountain View Cemetery. She is survived by her husband and two sons, William and Francis.
