Beloved Woman Called to Reward
One of Beaverhead County’s best known residents Mrs. George P. Romain died last Friday at her Dillon home after a long illness. Born June 20 1868 in Sigourney Iowa she came to Dillon in 1887 and lived here over 40 years. Her son Harry of Chicago arrived before her death and other Iowa relatives survive. Funeral Sunday at Brundage chapel with Rev H B Ricketts officiating and burial in Mountain View cemetery.

New Pastor Arrives in Dillon Presbyterian Church

Braves Daylong Trek Nets Trapper in Big Hole Case
Deputy wardens Charles Price and J. P. McCaffery trudged four days through blizzard conditions from Anaconda to the Big Hole basin to arrest Willard Franks for trapping without a license and marten out of season. He pleaded guilty to those charges and was fined 250 dollars on each count. a later deer carcass and possible moose hide charges may follow.

The woman faces desertion charges involving four minor children. a federal charge is anticipated for the man. They were taken back to Butte Friday by city officers.
