A Musical Evening for the Harmony Club at Lovell Home

Mrs C M Stolle and Miss Lovell hosted a Harmony Club gathering at the Lovell residence on Monday evening. Guests dressed to hint at songs, enjoyed club performances, a candlelit Christmas tree, and a postevent thank-you with refreshments.

Austian rancher badly mangled by hay baler mishap near Dill on Tuesday

John Botalli of Dil lon area suffered a severe leg injury while feeding a hay baler with his foot. Doctors considered amputation but Botalli refused. Surgeon Dr Bond notes such injuries are common and this may be the worst mangled limb he has seen.

Christmas church celebrations brighten Dillon with gifts and music

Dillon churches celebrate the divine birthday with trees, gifts, and special programs. Baptist, Catholic, Christian Science, St James, Methodist, and Presbyterian services feature recitations, choirs, and musical offerings. Gifts are distributed from Christmas trees as children, and in some cases Native gifts from Fort Belknap, Montana, are exchanged.

Leap Year Ball Promises Social Ballroom Management Night

At the Tribune store a dictionary drawing drew the lucky number 1471 valid for a Webster's Unabridged Dictionary and stand. If unclaimed in a week a new number will be drawn. Prof Akers hosts a Leap year ball at Dart's hall on December 31 with programs and timed floor management by ladies after midnight.
