Lima man sent to asylum after attempted self harm
G W Hiles was brought from Lima by Con stable Ernest Knowles and guarded in the courthouse basement. He tried to cut his throat during a protracted spree. County Physician Poindexter says the wound is minor but notes acute alcoholic insanity and a likely Warm Springs asylum stay after an examining board deemed him insane.
