James Atkeson died in a Pocatello hospital Friday morning at age 82. Survivors include three daughters Pearl Newka Opal McNeilly and Jessie Schock and two sons Bert and Ira. Ward was received here last week by Bob and Art Atkeson of his passing. Mr. Atkeson had visited Dillon several times.

Three of a quartet arrested in connection with bad checks at Armstead and Dillon were arraigned in justice court Saturday. Dick LaCroix was taken into custody by Silver Bow authorities and will be returned to Dillon for a hearing.
