Third Dormitory Completed at Montana State Normal
The third dormitory of the State Normal College is finished and ready for the summer session. Built of cream brick with stone trimmings, it connects to the two existing halls via a glass-enclosed passageway and features a sun parlor, music and library room, baths with mosaic tiling, an infirmary on the third floor, a large play room on the ground floor, an electric elevator, sewing room, and diet kitchen, all designed for comfort and utility under architect C. H. Carsley of Helena.

Clothing for refugees is badly needed

Dormitory Rooms Offer Furnishings and Laundry Facilities
All sleeping rooms include running water hot and cold two closets good lighting and ventilation. Furnishings are two single couch beds dresser chiffonier study table lamp two rockers and two chairs all fumed oak with curtains and bed linen provided. Laundry facilities allow self service. Recreation hall and parlors opened for student use. Reservations for rooms are now being made for the summer quarter.
Prohibition Arrests Mark Busy Week for Police and Sheriff
Police and sheriff's deputies report a strenuous week with several arrests since prohibition. Officers Chambers and Tritt jailed about six intoxicated men, fined around ten dollars each after brief detentions. Reichle soft drink venue raided netting a hooch-like liquor haul and two men, John Walters and James Jenkins, arrested on bonds set at five hundred dollars. Enoch Cheek and John Soucy, known as Frenchy, jailed after gambling charges and to face district court, with seven men in the game. Floyd Terry, alias The Wyoming Kid, jailed five days for disturbance after threatening a rancher and wife, tied to prior arrests in Butte.
