Obituary: George T. Boatman Dies After Long Illness
George T. Boatman passed away Wednesday after weeks of illness at age 84. The service, led by Rev. H G Humphrey, was held at the family home with many relatives and friends in attendance. Interment followed at Mountain View cemetery, with grandsons bearing the casket. Survivors include his widow and several children across Montana, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Missouri. Boatman, born August 24 1892 in Frankfort Kentucky, lived in Montana most of his life and served as a Methodist lay leader with a long record of community service.
