Montana normal college faculty to revive football team
Twenty four men students are listed for football prospects as Montana state normal college reports autumn quarter enrollment of 380, the largest for non summer terms. Coach Hollister plans to field a competitive eleven with several athletic students among newcomers.

Former Dillon Lady Dies in Butte Remains Taken East
Mrs. Mary Pease aged 77 died last week in Butte and the remains were taken to Watertown Wisconsin for burial by her daughter Mrs Leroy Bilbert of this city. She resided in Dillon for years and left about two years ago. Survived by son H A Pease deputy county attorney in Silver Bow county.

Many decline farmer labor ballot nominations in Helena
In Helena many nominees across farmer labor and socialist tickets rejected official ballots. Samuel J. Hampton, former Democratic governor candidate, asked to omit his name from the ballot. Others including John M. Evans, J. W. Crosby, Judge J J Lynch, Judge George B Winston, David Ross, Chas Rose, L J Onstead, C W Pomeroy, Fred L Gibson, and R W Berry refused nominations or declined to run on the farmer labor or socialist tickets.

If found, California buyers could trade directly with Montana farmers, avoiding speculators though freight costs remain about 18 to 20 dollars per ton. Funeral of Mrs Goodwin Held in Butte
The funeral of the late Mrs Phil Goodwin who died in Los Angeles was held in Butte last Monday morning from St Patrick's Catholic church. She was the mother of Mrs W H Chapman formerly of Dillon and now of Los Angeles. Mrs Fred Chapman attended the funeral in Butte.

Season for Wild Chickens Closes Today in Poor Hunt

Man Fined 27.50 for Overlimit Sage Hens
Sam Hill of Butte was arrested on Dead Mans Creek by Deputy Ed Munds and brought before Justice Peter Hansen in Lima. He pled guilty to possessing more than the legal limit of sage hens, was fined 27.50, the birds confiscated and sold at auction. The upland bird limit is five per kind or total, with the season closing September 24.
