Beaverhead County approves budgets after final equalization meeting
Beaverhead County commissioners met August 15 1950 in regular session as a final board of equalization budget and tax levy. They denied one petition for reduction by Charles M Mecham and then acted on budgets with a county wide levy of ten mills for schools and ten mills for two high schools. District levies and fund allocations were set including poor fund revenue and debt service. Taxable valuation listed as 6 081 052 with budget figures for general fund and other revenues and reserves.
