Beaverhead high school will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday with an 8 a.m. faculty meeting. Regular daily start will be 8:30 a.m. This fall adds three new instructors, three student teachers, and a new secretary. Walter Kryzmowski was apprehended Tuesday August 22 by Bozeman police in response to a Beaverhead county alarm. He is accused of stealing a local resident’s check and forging an endorsement. Returned to Dillon Thursday by Deputy Sheriff Burl Stephens he remains under 1500 dollars bond awaiting a preliminary hearing.

Ken Beegle and Blanche Beegle of Remington Arms will host a rifle pistol and shotgun marksmanship exhibition at the Dillon Gun Club at 6 30 p m. The Beaverhead Rodeo association and Bob Hoffman bring a top show to Dillon for Labor Day with nearly one hundred head of bucking horses and fifteen fast steers. Hoffman's stock, once owned by R A Richter, is famed for toughness and showiness, including colorful pinots and palominos. Mrs J Leach Dies After Long Dillon Residence
Mrs Minnie Leach a longtime Dillon resident died Saturday night at Barrett hospital after a brief illness. Born August 8 1871 in St Joseph Missouri she lived in Dillon since the early 1900s. Survived by two daughters Mrs Adrian Brown Charlo and Mrs John Burt Idaho Falls Idaho and a grandson Forrest Albert Smith Missoula. Funeral was held today at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church.
