Father of Dillon Man Is Lost While Deer Hunting
John C. Orr of Missoula father of Beaverhead County High School principal Conrad O. Orr became lost in Birch Creek northwest of Dillon last Saturday while hunting. A Dillon posse searched all night and found him Sunday morning after he contacted searchers. Orr, an experienced woodsman, had become disoriented seeking an unseen forest road. Other hunters report temporary disorientation in thick timbered districts this season.

Two chinchillas will be shown at Eliels next Tuesday and Wednesday marking Dillon’s growing chinchilla industry. Each pair is valued at 3200 dollars, with Montana’s first chinchilla farm near Dillon reportin 41600 in stock. Purchasers who bought five pairs in April earned 6400 in profit on a 16000 investment. The animals were provided by Chapman Chinchillas Inc of Los Angeles.
