Beav erhead County Giants Second Liberty Loan Drive

Beaverhead county waged a grand second Liberty loan drive with steady oversubscription momentum. The campaign neared its $330,000 quota as the Beaverhead club clock showed over $300,000 raised and more cards flowing in. Bruce Kremer of Butte will speak in Dillon tonight, urging support, while the community closes businesses for a holiday to boost the drive. Every worker is urged to report at noon for final instructions.

Delinquency Officer Visits Dillon Over Juvenile Neglect

P J Gilligan deputy state humane officer toured Dillon and investigated neglected children cases. He cooperates with county authorities to place delinquent parents under orders with strict penalties for noncompliance. The county superintendent will report families with school age children missing classes. neglect cases under law will be investigated. weekly trips planned until all cases are resolved.

The Ada Roach Concert Company presents The Hunt of the Immigrant next Saturday as the first lyceum number at the Normal. Six artists perform with impersonations of the immigrant at Ellis Island and folk dances from the old country. Ada Roach headlines a lively program regarded as among the best of the course.
