Shakespeare Club Plans Dillon District Meet in October
The Shakespeare club has completed plans for district No. 2 Montana Federation of Women's clubs meeting on October 26 and 27 at the training school auditorium. Officers, speakers, and a musical program with luncheons are announced. Dillon representation includes Miss Lucy Carson and Mrs. Mark Anderson. the club dates to 1892 and joins the federation to support drama study.

A bad wreck occurred yesterday morning on the Short Line at the Nyhart crossing two miles north of town. Seven cars piled up due to a broken wheel at the cattleguard. Track damaged and trains tied up. no injuries. Cars wrecked include two coke cars one salt car one merchandise car and three hay cars.

Big Auction Sale At Lakeview Planned By Hawley Selway

Hansen Passes High Naturalization Examination

More Boys Are Off for the Army in Dillon
Last Friday afternoon seven more young men left Dillon to offer their services to the U S Army. Robert Skalitsky and Louis Miller joined the infantry. The other five men enter the 20th engineers: James Sullivan Michiel J Donovan Vernon Emmon Edward Riggs and Joseph Hines. Donovan is an Irish alien who arrived from abroad and declared intent to become a U S citizen before enlisting at the forestry office.

Aged Woman Killed in Price Crossing Train Crash
Mrs. Mary A. Patterson, 65, was instantly killed when the Overland car carrying Alexander and Mollie Grant and their son Jack was struck by an O S L passenger train at Price crossing near Dell. The Grants were injured and all four taken to Megnus hospital. a four year old boy escaped unharmed. A coroner’s inquest and board of inquiry examined witnesses and found the train was traveling 35 miles per hour with warnings sounded as the crossing approached.

Woman Arrest Report For May Thompson Charge Of Vagrancy
