All clinics for crippled children will be conducted November 12 and 13 under the Montana State Board of Health through the Division of Services. A orthopaedic surgeon and a pediatrician will examine anyone under 21 with a physical handicap from a crippling condition. A Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation representative will interview those over 16 for potential training. The clinics are diagnostic only with possible financial aid for those needing care. Brother of Dillonites Rescued After Week in Wilderness
Harlan B. Davis of El dorado Springs Missouri a brother of Dr. Sheldon E. Davis and Mrs. Ernest Luebben was found after seven days and six nights lost in the Bitter Root Selway forest about 40 miles east of Hamilton. He was brought by plane to Hamilton hospital and is recovering, with plans to travel to Dillon for rest. A large search by forest personnel organized groups paratroopers and bloodhounds aided by planes and ground teams located him.

War veteran dies at Fort Harrison hospital
Marius Rasmussen 60 a World War I veteran died Monday at the veterans hospital in Fort Harrison after a lingering illness. A Beaverhead county resident for 35 years he worked on ranches before owning and running a ranch until recently. Born in Horsens Denmark he came to the United States as a young man. Survived by his wife two step children Mrs Joseph Nolan and Harry Christensen. Honored War Dead Will Be Laid At Rest
The body of Pfc Roy E Wellington will arrive Friday morning per telegram to H M Brundage Dillon funeral director. A detachment of American Legion members will escort him from the depot to Brundage funeral home. Wellington enlisted in 1940, was captured during Corregidor's fall, survived the Bataan march, and died Feb 7 1943 in a Japanese prison camp. His brother Wallace was killed May 6 1943 in North Africa. His mother Mrs Isabelle Wellington survives in Dillon. Funeral arrangements not yet complete.

Two Hospitalized In Auto Accident Near Barret
Joe Ryburn a Beav ered county high school instructor and Walter Daggett a Normal college student were hospitalized after a Saturday morning crash. They were en route to Idaho for Rev Daggett's preaching assignment when the car left the road during road work, Daggett’s vehicle went off a soft shoulder and plunged into the bar. Both began recovering at Barrett hospital.
