Madison Forest Fire Held To 28 Acres In Beaverhead Reserve

Rancher Guilfoyle Found Dead On Dillon Ranch
John Thomas Guilfoyle a Dillon rancher born August 12 1871 in Fulton Kansas was found dead this morning on his ranch west of the county fair grounds. He had been stricken while tending irrigation ditches and a search by neighbors followed his absence from home. A resident since 1901 he had owned the river road ranch for a decade and is survived by Kansas relatives including cousin Martin Quigley of Wisdom. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Andy Ziegler lies near death at Barrett hospital after four shots hit him including the abdomen chest and wrist.
