Warner Reelected Relief Head At Dillon Charities Meeting

H M Warner was reelected chairman of the Dillon Associated Charities at the organization’s first meeting of the season held last night in the training school auditorium. Red Cross Roll Call Opens Next Monday in Beaverhead

Preparations are under way for the annual Red Cross roll call starting October 10. E W Bond county chairman is appointing committees and district chairmen as Beaverhead County sets a 650 member quota. In Dillon the drive will be concentrated in a brief, intensive effort.

Bomb Found in Rooming House Plot Nipped

Oscar Kivisto of Butte was arrested in Dillon after Grace Fink, owner of a local rooming house, accused him of threatening to blow up the premises. Officers found a dynamite bomb in a canvas sack in the suspect’s possession beneath his clothing. He claimed to seek repayment of money owed him.

Improvements Sought for Montana Normal College Building Loan

President Sheldon K. E. Davis said a new building for the Montana Normal College may be financed by a loan from the Reconstruction Finance Corporation after talks in Helena with Chancellor M. A. Brannon and leaders of three other University of Montana units. The four units seek funds for residence halls and related facilities.
