Beaverhead County continues shipments of an additional 1800 head of cattle despite the suspension of the government sheep buying program. Shipments originated from Lima Divide Monida and Armstead with final lot leaving tomorrow. total cattle receipts from the original allotment reached about 29898 dollars. Frank B. Williams, former Beaverhead resident, dies in Stockton California at 77. He had lived in Dillon and Bannack before moving to California. survivors include son Lincoln and daughter Marjorie. John Pendergast age 82 died Friday at his ranch near Jackson after a long illness. He came to Grasshopper valley 50 years ago to ranch 26 years before moving to the Big Hole basin where he resided since. Survived by five sons John Bannack Tom Wisdom Dan Jackson Walter Pasadena. two daughters Margaret Chipman Helen Ranow of Pasadena. seven grandchildren.

Leadore Merchant Dies in Car Wreck Near Armstead
Wilbur F. Stone, 65, a prominent Leadore Idaho merchant, was killed last Wednesday night when his pickup left the highway two miles south of Armstead. A coroner said death was from shock, not drowning, with the body found in a roadside ditch. Stone, longtime owner of Leadore Cash store, was en route from Idaho Falls with groceries for his store. survived by wife and daughter. burial in Leadore.

E L Wilkinson was arrested at Lima Friday by Undersheriff W E Barry at Green River Wyoming sheriff office request for bad checks. Wilkinson released on own recognizance to appear in Wyoming. Shaw Rites Largely Attended in Wisdom
The funeral of Joseph B. Shaw was held Friday afternoon in the Masonic hall under Wisdom Lodge A F and A M. A guard of Knight Templars from the St Elmo commandery in Dillon attended, and Thomas, a brother-in-law of the deceased, read an original poem dedicated to Mr Shaw and his children.
