Death of E. E. Murray Found in Blacktail Creek
E. E. Murray a longtime Dilton resident was found dead Sunday afternoon in Blacktail Creek. He last appeared alive September 26 after being rescued from a freshly dug water main on Kentucky Avenue. Murray had worked for Dillon-Limpment Co and later opened a harness shop after moving to Dillon five or six years ago.

Dillon Woman Called to Nebraska by Death of Son
Mrs. John Hoffman traveled to McCook Nebraska to attend the funeral of her son George who died in Pittsburgh after a gun cleaning accident. He was 20, born in Jacksonville Illinois, lived many years in Dillon and married to Sidona Renzelman in Wray Colorado. He had just graduated from Westinghouse Electrical School and was promptly placed in a job.

Forger Returned to Blackfoot After Serving Sentence
Elwood Peterson was turned over to an Idaho sheriff to return to Blackfoot and face forgery charges after completing a 60 day jail term here for breaking into a ranch bunk house near Dillon. Investigations revealed a bad check in Lima and additional checks at Aberdent Idaho. Blackfoot authorities were notified. Mike Rebich was arraigned on larceny charges for taking a wagon from the C B Q ranch. He pleaded not guilty claiming lawful loan and ownership. Bonds set at $100. Trial slated for Friday.

Dillon Citizens Take Part in Annual Normal College Go
The annual Normal college go was held last Friday at Dillmont park. Local businessmen supplied cars to shuttle students to the picnic and the afternoon outing ended with a dance at the park. An outdoor luncheon was served by the college and well enjoyed by students and townspeople amid cool but fair weather.
