ARH Considers Older Men for Selective Service Training
The War Department announced that older men called under the selective service law will train at a gentler pace. Camp commanders are instructed to avoid overtaxing physical capacity and to start with lighter exercises to build conditioning without overstraining veterans of sedentary work. The overseas fit system for ages 21 to 31 will not apply to older volunteers, who will be gradually prepared for service. Call the Bond Grocery Co. for Red McIntosh apples, $2.60 a box.
