Hands of the Law Again Charged Robbery Suspect C B Camp
C B Camp was arrested by Chief Nelson on robbery charges in the Chinese quarter. He allegedly entered China Chicken’s home and, at gunpoint, took a suitcase containing about $40 and merchandise from a patient. Chicken was struck but only slightly hurt. Camp was captured nearby and jailed. This is his second similar offense and a long sentence is expected if convicted.

Baby Drowns in Irrigation Ditch Near Blaine Ranch
Carl Paul Broksle, eighteen months old son of Mr and Mrs Frank Broksle of Blaine, drowned Thursday morning in a two foot deep irrigation ditch near the family ranch. The child wandered from an open kitchen door while siblings played. his body was recovered about twenty minutes later downstream. Funeral services were held Friday at the Broksle ranch with burial in Mountain View cemetery.

Man Is Acquitted for the Second Time
Ulysses Jennings was acquitted at a night district court session when bonds to keep the peace were demanded. Two weeks earlier he faced a first degree assault charge from Arthur De Celles and was acquitted. The case said Jennings defended his mining property in the Vipond district. He filed for an injunction to stop trespassing on his property after the second dismissal.
