Local man tops market with ewes in Omaha sale
Frank Landon of Dillon Montana returned from Omaha where on November 8 he topped the market with a flock of ewes at 5 cents a head. The eight-load shipment brought in mostly 14 to 15 dollars, with a standout load at 15.50 and some yearlings at 17.00. Col Alf Decker was seen from Armstead.

John Couch Aged Dillon Resident Dies After Illness
John Couch an aged Dillon resident died yesterday shortly after noon at the ranch home of Mr and Mrs Fred Kerr on the beach southwest of Dillon after a lingering illness. He underwent an operation for stomach trouble months ago and had been bedfast lately. The funeral will be held at the Kerrs place. He is survived by several children including Mrs Fred Kerr Joseph Couch and Miss Dorothy Couch of Dillon.
