At the May 16 board meeting Dillon School District No 10 elected the public school teachers for the coming year with little change in staff. Ruby Simpson did not reapply. Supt C L Robbins oversees. Salaries range from 70 to 90 dollars with Miss Grace Graeter as music instructor.

Memorial services honor Montana Mason Cornelius Hedges Sr
Last Sunday afternoon Masons in Montana gathered at their halls to honor the departed grand secretary Cornelius Hedges Sr known as the Father of Masonry in Montana. Grand Master A oD McDonald of Kalispell directed observances. Rev Dr Martin led the services delivering a brief yet masterful address. Evening memorials at the Presbyterian church followed a union G A R service with Dr Martin again speaking.

Woodmen Lodge Event Shows Exhibition Drill In Dillon
About 50 new members of the Woodmen will join a Dillon lodge class next Saturday with 100 Butte members and the degree team leading exhibition drills on the streets before a work demonstration at the Opera house. A special train will run Sunday from Butte to Dillon for the Woodmen baseball game between the two teams.
