The 8-2 home economics class works to finish their dresses for Wednesday the last full day of the term. Hygiene classes heard Dr Romersa lecture on tooth decay prevention with slides. University of Iowa feeding experiments showed improvement in undernourished children with dental decay. Miss Margaret, school nurse, demonstrated first aid and emergency splints. A kingfisher was seen by the creek, fishing season seemingly in progress. The 8-2 boys are finishing projects.

A new joint arrangement between the Railway Express Agency and Western Union Telegraph Company offers enhanced shipping convenience. Western Union offices will host receiving stations and messengers will collect packages up to 20 pounds and 250 dollars in value for rail or air express movement with prepaid or collect charges. Wool Consumption Ahead of Mart Sales
The March census bureau report shows mills consuming wool in Q1 faster than Boston raw wool sales. Market trading remained light with isolated transactions and firm prices. Texas wools 8 months sold around 78 cents, French combing 64s and finer wools fetched 82 to 83 cents on a scoured basis.
