Beaverhead county high school's largest graduating class in history, 74 seniors, will receive diplomas at the annual commencement tomorrow night in the high school gym. Principal Wahl presents candidates. J. H. Gilbert delivers diplomas, his daughter Jean Gilbert is valedictorian. Dorothy Spégar delivers salutatory. Speakers include Eldon Noble Jack Reeves and James McCulley. string ensemble under L A Gregory performs. Invocation and benediction by Rev H J Schmidt. Harold Wheat plays flute in the program.

Rancher of Beaverhead Valley Dies
Louis Giudici a prominent young rancher from the Beaverhead valley died last Wednesday evening at Barrett hospital after a brief illness following an appendectomy. He was born in Dillon 29 years ago and operated a valley ranch north of Dillon. Survived by wife Mary, son Dorm, sister Madeline Giudici of Salt Lake City, aunt Amanda Giudici and several cousins. Funeral at St James Episcopal Church officiated by Rev H N Tragitt with interment in Mountain View cemetery.

Charles Henry McClain, 81, died Sunday after a long illness at his daughter's home in Dillon. Former Miles City resident, he had lived in Dillon five years. Funeral services were held at Brundage chapel with Rev. H. J. Schmidt presiding. Burial followed in Miles City. The Beaverhead Federation of Women's Clubs met in Wisdom with Mrs. Ray Leverich presiding at the Wisdom church. Morning reports, luncheon, and an afternoon program featured Miss Stickney's county nurse report, solos by Mrs. Wallace Francis and Miss Marion Anderson, and the one act play They're None of Them Perfect. The event closed with the assembly singing Bless Be the Tie That Binds. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jones arrived from Maywood, Illinois, to spend much of the summer at F. B. Foote's home.

Revue at Clau dia Faust School of Dancing Friday
The Clau dia Faust School of Dancing will present its annual revue at the training school auditorium on Friday evening June 7. About 300 performers will participate, with no admission charged and a wide variety of dances and new routines. Coach Carl A. Ross urged public support to establish an athletic field for Beaverhead County High School at a Dillon Rotary club dinner, where Prof. Rush Jordan chaired and Dr. W. H. Stephan reported on water conservation.

Former Dillon Woman Dies in Mother's Day Tragedy
Chicago reports that Verna Lewis once of Dillon killed herself and her two young daughters by asphyxiation after leaving a running car in a garage. She had been known as Verna Linfors here, living with her mother and attending high school. Police were called to 1258 Elmdale Avenue as destitution fears prompted the tragedy.

Heart Attack Fatal to Butte Youth John H Jensen
John Harold Jensen 22 husband of Beart Wilbur Jensen died from a sudden heart attack last Wednesday evening in the Andrus cafe kitchen. Native of Brigham City Utah he had lived in Butte for years and was well known. Funeral held in Butte. Fishing Season Draws Anglers To Local Streams
The fishing season opened yesterday drawing many Dilton residents to nearby streams. Next weekend is expected to bring the peak migration as anglers travel in cars with high hopes. Most county streams should yield good fishing, though several creeks and rivers run low.

The Lie berland Brothers Great Piccadilly circus arrives Monday for a three day stay with shows Monday Tuesday and Wednesday under Dillon volunteer fire department auspices. Free street parade at 4 p.m. band concerts daily and a one hour thirty minute program with carnival attractions including a minstrel show side show merry go round whip tilt a whirl ferris wheel loopo plane kiddie rides and pony rides. The event employs 200 people.

Bishop Ralph Hayes of Helena confirmed a large class at St. Rose’s church in Dillon on his first visit to the parish. He led 8 am mass with communion and 10 am service with Easter music by St. Rose’s and St. Patrick’s choirs. Confirmands came from Lima Melrose Jackson and Dillon. he also spoke at Lima and Melrose parishes. Northwest Association lists Beaverdam county high school retained status.

The first golf event of the season is a mixed foursome this Sunday at the Dillon Country Club course open to nonmembers. For 1936 memberships cost 5 dollars for couples, with daily green fees of 50 cents for men and women and season rates up to 65 dollars for women and 12 dollars 60 cents for men paid in advance. Juveniles pay 2 dollars 50 for the season and social memberships are 2 dollars 50.

Sheriff identifies suspects in hotel hold-up case
Sheriff James A. McCollum wired his office that Harvey Bell and Jack ODay, named by night clerk Charles Titus at the Metlen hotel, held him up for $90 Thursday morning. Titus and the sheriff’s deputy went to Idaho Falls, where the two men are being held, amid further suspicions of involvement in a separate Idaho hotel robbery.

Lorraine McGrath of Beaverhead County High School won third in the Montana high school declamation contest at Missoula with China Blue Eyes.
