A letter from Butte reports the complete recovery of Mrs. George A. Martin who contracted smallpox this spring. She was placed in quarantine with care to protect others and will not return to Armstead until the danger has passed.
Dr W V Kingsbury captain in the army medical corps returns to Camp Dodge Iowa today after a 10 day furlough with his family in Butte He has been attached to the camp since last October and has no idea when he will be released from service. Hail insurance remark by Home Insurance Co of New York cited by Security State Bank agents.
Beaverhead county Montana commissioners met May 6 1919 with Chairman D. D. McKnight and others. They addressed the Cooper Harrison fence line, set road line stakeouts, approved a filing case for Elizabeth Sutherland, granted $35 monthly support for Julia Cahn’s four children, approved April treasury report and bank bonds, and authorized several warrants and adjustments including culvert requirements for irrigation canals and a $250 petty cash fund. The county payroll and numerous claims were approved as read.
