Local notices report collectors pursuing the Bond Bros circus amid town chatter. Reports mention contractors from Butte eyeing bids on the Argenta road and bridges, while several residents and officials travel to nearby courts and towns for legal and business matters.
The Bond Bros world’s best shows debuted in Dillon last Thursday drawing good crowds despite poor weather. Performances featured elephants, contortionists, bareback riding, midair feats, trained dogs, horsemen, and a variety of acts. however critics condemned the management’s license payment evasion as unfavorably as the show's other qualities.

A historical notice touts Dr Ring's New Discovery and Klactric Pitter as remedies for coughs colds and kidney and liver troubles. It cites testimonials from Reverend Miller of Keokuk Iowa and a Trinity Lil clerk praising relief and urging trials at local drug stores.
A Dimondale Michigan letter from Rev J Cenderman praises Dr King’s New Discovery for a relative’s recovery after a severe grippe with terrible coughing spells. The testimonial notes quick relief after using the remedy and mentions free samples at R I Scearce’s drug store with the bottle size and price listed.
