State to Build Sacajawea Memorial Park Along Highway 91
Plans announced by the state highway commission call for a nearly mile long park on the west side of Highway 91 north of Armstead to honor Sacajawea. The project includes stone guard rails flagstone walks a memorial and landscaping with grass trees and will cost over 7000 with bids issued last week. The site is noted as the Lewis and Clark expedition camp called Two Forks of the Jefferson.

Normal May Fete Staged by Women's Athletic Association
Over 1 500 spectators packed Normal college gym Friday for the annual May Fete under the Women's Athletic Association. Elena Slepcevich of Anaconda was crowned May queen after a student body vote, with Thelma Bartlett Dorothy Blackburn Emma Hughes and Edith Nelson as attendants. Dillon Woman Is Summoned In Pocatello
Mrs Priscilla Smith a Dillon resident for 36 years died Monday night at her son Melvyn’s home in Pocatello Idaho where she had been staying for the past few days She was born in Canada on April 21 1865 came to Beaverhead county in 1901 and married David L Smith in 1901 He died in February 1933 Surviving are a daughter Mrs Roy Call of Klamath Falls Oregon a son Melvyn of Pocatello and several grandchildren The funeral will be held at 2 o clock tomorrow afternoon from the Brundage chapel
