Charles G. Shannon formerly of Dillon and now in Chicago married Miss Henriette I. Olson at the home of the Olson family on South Eighth Street. Rev. Preus of Manitowoc performed the ceremony. The couple left for Milwaukee and the East, planning a two week absence. Guests included Lucile and Harry Shannon, and Dr. Wolfert with Miss Mabel Niebling.

John N. Armstrong editor and manager of the Big Hole Breezes in Wisdom Montana died at his home after a paralysis attack struck the day before. A Civil War veteran, he edited Montana papers at Stevensville Grantsville Jackson and Gibbonsville before founding the Big Hole Breezes in Wisdom. He is survived by his wife.

Special Meeting of City Council Discusses Resignations and Projects
Last Thursday May 11 the city council accepted the resignation of Councilman Emil Brock from the first ward. G T Paul was appointed to fill the vacancy. The street committee asked for time on sidewalk plans for North Pacific street and a cement walk option was debated. A water main extension petition was referred to the water committee.
