Dillon Cashmore Named to National Public Health Service
H. F. Cashmore, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cashmore, has been appointed junior assistant sanitary engineer with the national public health service. He will move to Washington to begin duties and will travel to New York, Chicago, Memphis and other eastern and southern cities. He recently graduated from Montana College at Bozeman and worked with the state board of health.

Jackson Wins Track Meet in Beaverhead County

Great Falls May 5 A 3000 acre block in the Kevin Sunburst field owned by Arbey Beardslee was sold to the Thomas B. Davis syndicate of Minneapolis for 650000 in cash and a large stock interest. Beardslee retains a small separate tract with a half interest. Negotiations for the purchase were completed today.

Seventeen Cars of Cattle Shipped to Coast Market
W. S. Tash arrived from Armstead after loading 17 cars of fat cattle for shipment to the coast. He has bought for Frye this past month totaling about $200,000 in hay fed beef steers from the Big Hole basin and Grasshopper. The latest cattle were the last contracted for the coast company and among the season’s final loads.

Dramatic Instructor Called to Testify in DeAutremont Trial
Miss Mary K. Sands, former instructor of Hugh DeAutremont at an Oregon school, testifies in Jacksonville Oregon to the model behavior of the defendant during the murder trial connected with a train hold up case. She was a dramatics instructor at the Montana State Normal College. She traveled to Jacksonville to testify for the prosecution.

Lima Woman Found Dead in Her Home
Mrs. Rose Boule a Lima resident for 15 years died suddenly in her bed last Sunday night due to heart trouble. Neighbors found her Monday morning and an inquest was held that evening. She was 68 on April 30 and is survived by daughter Elizabeth Wilcox of Lima. Funeral held in Lima.
