Bea verhead Gives Prizes at One Day Dillon Meet
Dillon plans a county wide track meet and scholarships under Bea verhead county high school sponsorship. Over a hundred pupils from every county section entered. Scholarship events Saturday morning include geography arithmetic reading penmanship spelling language music memory. Track events start 1 p m with Class B and A divisions and multiple events for boys and girls.

Well-known Dillon Man Is Claimed
ILLIAM MORRISON, well known Dillon resident, died at his home yesterday morning after several months of illness. A native of Scotland born October 3 1865 in Allshire near Edinburgh he worked as a mechanical engineer in Australia before moving to Dillon in 1923 to live with his sister. He married Mrs Annabel Desmond less than a year ago and is survived by his sister Mrs Mary Ann Cooper of Edinburgh and a grand-niece Margaret Grimes.

The Dillon Gun club edged Helena 74 to 73 in a Montana Standard telegraphic shoot, keeping Dillon tied for first with Butte and Billings. Butte fell 75-71 to Sheridan, narrowing the pace at the top. Dan Peterson and W E Tallent each posted two 26s with seven 24s overall as the team stayed hot despite missing a perfect score for the first time in three Sundays.
