Montana Defers Fishing Licenses for Residents
A state law amendment makes fishing free for bona fide Montana residents effective immediately. Non residents must obtain a one dollar non resident license, valid through December 31, and issued by state game and fish authorities. The act also governs license blanks, reporting by wardens, and hunting license procedures.
