The February 28, 1905 treasurer’s balance shows totals for General Contingent Road Bridge Sinking and other funds. Receipts from taxes licenses and county fees were recorded. a large sum was remitted to the state treasurer and warrants were redeemed. Local items note visits, market openings, club meetings, civic appointments, real estate activity, sports events, and social notices in Dillon.
The Beaverhead Club in Dillon prepares to open its new quarters with home like comfort and fine furnishings. A large billiard room, card rooms, and a secretary’s desk highlight the space while nonresident members from the county are seen as a growing possibility. The club aims to serve all county residents, not just Dillon.

The Fifth Judicial District of Montana fixes regular court terms for 1905 across Jefferson Beaverhead and Madison counties. Jefferson opens on the second Monday January April July and October.
