County Board Clears Fence Work and Notes Several Payments
At the May meeting the county board approved cancelling taxes after the treasurer and attorney devise a collection method. F J Crampton sought 60 days to fence a right of way. gates to be removed and fence started immediately. County engineer to stake lines June 10. A $36 check from Ben Mallon for a county grader was received. The board declined a county agent this year. Various reports were approved and warrants issued for numerous officials, employees, and suppliers. an itemized list includes court fees, sheriff mileage, printing, supplies, and road work payments.
