Madison River closed below Hebgen Dam for fish protection
State fish and game commission ordered Madison River closures from Hebgen dam to Hutchins bridge to save spawning fish amid low water. Butte winner Dillon’s state league team dropped two contests in a week to land last in the six team group. Nettleton, Parks ace, held Dillon to one hit in a Thursday defeat. Mrs Magdeline Lyon Dies at 79 in Dillon
Mrs Magdeline Lyon 79 died Sunday afternoon at her Dillon home after a lingering illness. A Copenhagen native who came to the U S at age 12 she lived in Dillon many years and leaves three sons Roy William Fred of Dillon a daughter Mrs W E Gustafson of Omaha and five grandchildren. The local community mourns her passing. Mrs Lyon was a member of the Latter Day Saints church. Today a circus titled Al G Barnes Sells Floto Combined Circus arrived in town with performances at 2 and 8 p m at the fair grounds bringing joy to youngsters and adults alike.

Miners to Hold Dance at Dillmont Park Saturday
