Honored Old Pioneer Laid to Rest in Dillon
Funeral services for Craig Cornell, prominent Beaverhead pioneer of sixty two years, were held at the family home with Rev. Howard B. Ricketts presiding. Beaverhead County Fair Dates Set for September
Beaverhead county fair will run September 26 27 and 28 following a Monday night meeting of the fair board. A premium list is being prepared offering generous awards in all divisions and for every Beaverhead county product. The new livestock pavilion at the fairgrounds is advancing rapidly under Dillon contractor R T Wemple and should be usable well before the fair dates.

Forrest Bayerd Appointed Head Supervisor for Beaverhead Valley
Forrest Bayerd was named head water commissioner for the Beaverhead valley by Judge Henry G. Rodgers on Tuesday, with commissioners assigned from the Lima dam to the lower valley under his supervision. Other appointees include Frank G. Ryburn for the area below Dixon Blair Sprinkle for the area above the city Harry A. Dowling for Big Sheep creek and John C. Patterson for Sage creek. An injunction restraining the defendant from interfering with water rights was issued in the case James L Burt vs Arby Bearéslayang.
