Beaverhead Waste Paper Could Be Used For Shells
Beaverhead county residents can supply enough waste paper to make 23 143 suits of armor for 105 mm shells if they save about 10 pounds per month. The 105 mm shells aid American forces toward Berlin and Tokyo. Last year Americans saved 106 percent pounds per capita, enough for 35 containers per shell. Each container requires about three pounds of waste paper, says W. J. Wardell of American Can Company.
