Forest Service Reinstates Lodgepole Pine Marking

Hidden ore deposit may lie beneath unseen signs

Beaverhead Forest Expenditures Highlight Local Improvements
The Beaverhead national forest spent 110656 in building and range improvements for the 1933 34 period. About 77000 went to local labor in Beaverhead and Madison counties with roughly 150 men employed. Total improvements cost 661172 and the current value is 692.00 as policy.

Samuel A. Hayden of Centennial valley was found not guilty of murder in the O Connor case after a trial that began January 14 and concluded with a verdict shortly after eleven in the morning. The judge had reduced charges to manslaughter, and Hayden remained calm as the verdict was read.
