Dillon Man Is Claimed By Illness
Alpheus Edgar Adams a Dillon resident for 35 years died at his home Saturday morning after a long illness. Born September 7, 1866 in Greenbush Illinois he moved to Dillon in 1900 and worked as a barber with James Leach. He helped run the Corner Cigar store and was treasurer of Apollo lodge I C F. Survived by his sister Mrs. George Wolfe and a city niece.

Postoffice at Argenta Discontinued After Long Service
The Argenta postoffice, among Montana's oldest, was discontinued last Thursday after Mrs. A. H. French resigned as postmistress. About 48 families will receive mail from Dillon or via the Dillon Jackson star route. French served as postmistress 11 years as Argenta’s mining camp declined but recently saw renewed activity.

Herman Peterson Shines in Eastern Trapshooting Circuit
Dillon Gun club star Herman Peterson is going great guns in eastern trapshoots this winter. He tied for first in the Florida open handi cap at Daytona Beach and, in a shoot-off with three others, was runner-up to Heistand.
