George Opp Jr Dies in Butte After Illness
George Henry Opp Jr., son of Mr and Mrs G H Opp of Dillon, died last Thursday in a Butte hospital after an operation for appendicitis. He was 17. The funeral was Sunday at the family home on Birch Street with Rev Humphrey officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery. Survived by parents one sister Martha and four brothers Harris Fed Lester in Dillon and Earl in France. He was a Beaverhead High School senior and well liked.
